Customizing your Mac Finder Window
A Finder window is the window that appears when you double-click the Hard Drive icon on your Mac, or any other folder (i.e. Documents, Music, Photos…). At the top, you probably see a few buttons like the Back/Next arrows and the different Finder view options.
Did you know you can change this toolbar? Just right click on the top of the window and choose Customize Toolbar. From there you can drag your favorite items onto the toolbar above, or remove the ones you don’t like. You can also change it to show only icons or text, or smaller icons to save space. My favorite additions are the New Folder and Delete buttons.
