
Need to send money to a friend but don’t want to use a check? You can send money for free using PayPal if both parties have an account. It’s easy to sign up and send money, just make sure to follow these steps to avoid transfer fees:
- Send money using a bank account or PayPal balance. Using a debt/credit card will incur a fee.
- When filling out the Send Money form, make sure to click on the Personal tab. If you choose the Purchase tab, the person you send money to will be charged a fee.
