Many banks today offer several ways of banking while on the go. You can check your balance and transfer money via text message, your mobile browser, and sometimes a dedicated mobile app. Chase bank even lets you deposit checks with your smart phone (Android and iPhone). It’s simple, safe and secure. Other banks are likely to get this feature soon, so be sure to check with your bank and see if they offer it.

Text Messaging Google

Just because you don’t have a smart phone doesn’t mean you can’t access the internet. If you can send text messages, you can search Google with your phone.

Text your search query to 466453 (“Google” on most devices) and Google will text you back your results. You may receive multiple messages back, so beware if you have a limited texting plan.
