Launch Programs at Startup

If you use certain programs or files or visit particular websites every time you start your computer, you might as well have your Mac open them for you automatically.

Open your System Preferences. Under System, click on Accounts. Click on your account from the list on the left and then click on the Login Items tab on the right. Click the Plus button to add programs, files or even website shortcuts to the list. You can also do this by dragging icons onto the list.
